The EYSC youth mentoring program is a volunteer community service program for local high school teenagers of all grades who want to continue to be involved with youth soccer and mentor younger players.
This program will provide the youth players with a mentor for support at both practices and games. In addition, this program will hopefully provide the mentors with the opportunity to be involved with soccer in a new capacity, increase confidence and self-esteem, gain community service hours, and become a role model for younger players.
Applicants must have soccer experience, preferably with EYSC or their local high school. Selected youth mentors will be paired with a local recreational EYSC team and will be expected to commit a minimum of 20 hours of volunteer time, divided between practices and games.
