Eureka Youth Soccer has partnered with the Positive Coaching Alliance to educate our Coaches, officials, players and parents on the value of positive leadership through sports.  Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) is a national non-profit with the mission to provide all youth and high school athletes a positive, character-building youth sports experience.  PCA reaches youth and high school sport leaders, Coaches, athletes, parents, and officials through live workshops, online courses, published books and articles, and a series of alliances with nationally-recognized coaches, athletes, academicians, businesses and national youth sports organizations.

EYSC participates in the three core focus areas of PCA.  First, our entire Coaching staff is Double Goal certified.  The Double-Goal Coach®, has a first goal of winning, and a second, more-important goal to teach life lessons through sports. Second, each EYSC team must send a parent representative to become certified as The Second-Goal Parent®, who concentrates on life lessons, while letting coaches and athletes focus on competing.  Finally, EYSC players are Triple-Impact Competitors®, who strive to impact the sport on three levels by improving oneself, teammates and the game as a whole.
